Good for you, Lauri. I'm doing something similar on my site, and my material is a bit transgressive, as well (Satanism!). Although I fly the horror/dark fiction flag, I tend to sail close to literary shores. I want to provoke, just not gratuitously.
I do intend to get the work in print, but I know I'm going against the grain. With any luck, I'll catch a handhold somewhere. But what I won't do is compromise my voice just to sneak into the market. It's not why I write.
Some people have nightmares about showing up to work naked.
